Van Dyke Road Remodel

This project was challenging because of the time restrictions placed on our operations. We began work August 1st and had the house move-in ready by start of school as required. Once the family moved in, we worked together to customize the closets and cabinets to reflect the family's individual needs.  During the construction process, we came across a couple of unknown and unplanned obstacles during construction but were able to mitigate the problems that ensued.  For example, we found rotten sheetrock in the upstairs walls which led to the replacement of all the upstairs sheetrock.  We discovered out-of-date electrical wires but were able to repair and update the electrical system.

• Laid character hickory hardwood floor
• Reconstructed interior walls
• Installed heating system with smart-phone controlled thermostats
• Installed?? Lutron lighting controlled by smart-phones
• Placed radiant heat feature in garage floor
• Constructed custom built-in closets and cabinets
• Adjusted entire garage structure
• Replaced fireplace with up-to-date system
